A first for me combining two different animals, a beautiful badger and a friendly butterfly setting the peaceful atmospheric scene of spring. A 40x50cm Belle Arti Italian Linen canvas in a wooden sustainable frame is approx 10 cm width surrounding canvas. Depth approx 5cm.

This painting is called “Carefree”, I wanted to focus on just the head and shoulders of the badger, you don’t always get to see their soul in paintings and here you get that carefree peaceful feeling as he is sniffing at the butterfly that’s about to land on his nose!
