There’s something magical about a kingfisher, and this being the second one I’ve painted I really wanted to get into those depth of feathers, the vibrant colours and beauty of this bird. It was a challenge to get it feeling alive but I’m so happy with the result. 
The frame is a gorgeous silver look that really brings out the colours in the painting. Painted on a 30x30cm Belle Arti Italian white canvas in a wooden sustainable frame is approx 5 cm width surrounding canvas. Depth approx 5cm.
